Why training Brazilian jiu-jitsu?

BJJ provides an intense, full-body workout that’s perfect for losing weight, increasing your muscle mass, and get you into great shape all while having fun and learning a life skill.

BJJ is a combative and competitive sport based on ground fighting. There is a specific sparring in class and you eventually can compete in tournaments if you desire to test yourself.

stress relief

BJJ forces you to focus on what you are doing at the moment and forget anything else putting our anxiety and stress out!

Self defense

BJJ techniques are based on leverage, which often allows the smaller, weaker person to overcome size and brute strength by using technique.

Jiu-jitsu will keep you humble. Even if you're the most athletic person, you'll probably experience getting submitted by someone. And there is nothing wrong with that.

BJJ is a strong community following. Despite being an individual sport, there is something about BJJ that brings people together. The people you train with become your team, friends, and family.

Beginner BJJ Program Structure

We believe that to learn anything you need to practice it, and repeat, repeat, and repeat again.
Our classes have three moments: Warm up, BJJ Technique/drilling, and Sparring. The difference of a regular class and the beginner’s class is that here the sparring is specific, with movements limited to what you are learning in this program. This training methods create a safer environment for you and your partners.
