Buchecha is a member of the IBJJF Hall of Fame and is widely considered one of the greatest Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitors of all time, holding the world record for the most gold medals in the history of the IBJJF World Championships, with an unprecedented 13 titles across both gi and no-gi divisions. 

He is not only celebrated for his athletic achievements but also revered as a role model within the BJJ community, inspiring a new generation of grapplers with his dedication and sportsmanship.
